CHRISTMAS TREESOur beautiful 80-acre country farm is the perfect setting to cut your own Christmas tree. We are a family owned choose & cut farm and supply wholesale trees too. Select from hundreds of Balsam Fir, Scotch Pine, White Pine, Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce and a select number of Fraser Fir. Open weekends after Thanksgiving Day. Tree fields offer easy access or enjoy hiking the trails along the Little Eau Claire river to our back fields. We will provide the saw and even help harvest a tree if desired. Enjoy the occasional deer or turkey sightings and see the guinea fowl and pheasants. After selecting a tree, warm up in our cabin with hot cider and treats. We also offer tree wrapping, hand-made wreaths and boughs. Leashed pets are welcome. Most trees are priced between $20 - $25 (includes sales tax) with the exception of Fraser Fir that are priced individually. Supporting our community Most recently, tree sales helped kickoff a campaign to raise awareness and over $32,000 for the A-T Children's Project. Past sales have benefited The Salvation Army, Portage County Youth on Ice, Head Start and Redeemer Lutheran Church Holiday baskets. Pheasant Pines also participates in Adopt-A-Highway program. PHEASANT HUNTINGPheasant Pines is an ideal location to enjoy time outdoors with friends and family. We customize each hunt to the individual and can mark birds if desired or create a more challenging hunt using diverse habitat to set birds. Great site to impress clients or perfect location for controlled training with new puppies. Pheasants are raised in a large flight pen with plenty of space creating strong flying birds. When planning your hunt, allow up to three hours for a package of 12 birds. We require all hunters to wear some blaze orange, unload guns within 100 yards of buildings and use shot size 5 or lighter. No bag limits, license or stamp required. Minors must have completed Hunter safety course. Our season begins in late August and ends in March based on availability. Open weekends and evenings as daylight permits. Also open some weekdays for larger orders. We suggest you reserve at least one week prior as peak weekends fill up quickly.
